Show en Minsk cancelado / Minsk show canceled

Debido a problemas concernientes al show, lamentablemente hemos decidido cancelarlo.

La banda se siente muy triste, ya que por primera vez tocaría en Belarus. Pero el riesgo de volar con todo el equipo, el set completo para el escenario, la banda y aún así no tener la posibilidad de participar del show (con fans esperando y todo) es muy alto.

Esperamos durante el próximo tour, Apocalyptica tenga la oportunidad de ofrecer un concierto en Belarus.

MINSK SHOW CANCELLED

Due to problems in advancing the show we unfortunately had to decide to cancel this show.

The band is very sad as this would have been the first time to play in Belarus for them. But the risk of flying the entire crew, the full stage set up and the band to Belarus and then not been able to play a show (with fans waiting at the concert venue) was too high.

We hope to be able to have an Apocalyptica concert in Belarus during the next touring cycle.

Declaración oficial acerca del uso ilegal de nuestra canción “Path”

Esta es una declaración oficial de la banda acerca del uso ilegal de nuestra canción “Path” en un aviso comercial de TV e Internet en la República Checa.

Apocalyptica siempre ha apoyado a las minorías, defiende los derechos humanos, respeta los derechos humanos, no importa el color, etnia o religión, en el mundo entero.

Apocalyptica también apoya la idea de una Europa unida y a la Unión Europea.

Esperamos que esta sea una declaración clara, nunca permitimos que la fiesta “Národní Strana” de la República Checa usara nuestra música. El hecho es que nunca nos preguntaron su podían usar algo de nuestro material.

Aparte del hecho de que estamos apenados por este uso ilegal, “Národní Strana” ha quebrantado la ley con los dueños de los derechos de la canción “Path” en la República Checa que son: Universal Music Publishing y Universal Music.

Ambas compañías, comenzarán ahora los procedimientos legales en contra de la fiesta.

Official statement about the illegal use our song 'Path'

This is on an official statement by the band about the illegal use of our song 'Path' in a tv and internet commercial in the Czech Republic.

Apocalyptica always supports minorities, stands up for human rights, respects every human being, no matter their colour, ethnic background or religion, worldwide.

Apocalyptica also supports the idea of a united Europe and the European Union.

We hope it is a clear statement that we would never allow the Czech Republican party 'Národní Strana' to use any of our music. The fact is, we were never asked if they could use our material.

Beside the fact that we are mortified by the illegal use, 'Národní Strana' has contravened the law with the owners of the rights for the song 'Path' in Czech Republic, who are Universal Music Publishing and Universal Music.

Both companies will start legal proceedings against the party now.

El post del día de hoy es especial, porque cuando parte alguien que ha tocado de manera significativa tu sensibilidad y por qué no decirlo, tu corazón, no puedes quedar indiferente.

Seguramente las sillas se moverán para que no quede vacío el espacio que ocupaba en el escenario, pero el vacío que quedará en nosotros no se llenará tan fácilmente, aunque movamos todas las piezas internas que forman nuestros sentimientos.

Los que gozamos de su talento y de su presencia en cada presentación de Apocalyptica, de su dulce e impecable sonido, de su personaje indispensable para el equilibrio de un espectáculo perfecto, aquellos que aprendimos a ver más allá de sus anteojos y de su inalterable expresión, los que estamos convencidos de que mientras más dura es la cáscara, más frágil es lo que protege, no podremos sacarnos el nudo inmenso de la garganta.

No, no moveré las sillas en mi corazón, la de él se queda ahí…esperando y acompañándome todos los días, para que nunca pueda olvidarlo.

Until we meet again

Today’s post is special, because when someone who has notably touched your sensitivity and, why not to mention, your heart, you can’t remain indifferent.

Probably the chairs will move so that the space he occupied in the stage won’t be empty, but this emptiness that will remain in us won’t fill so easily even though we move all the internal pieces that form our feelings.

Those who enjoyed his talent and presence in each performance of Apocalyptica, his sweet and impeccable sound, his indispensable character for the equilibrium of a perfect show; those who learned how to see beyond his glasses and impassive expression, the ones who are convinced that the more stronger is the shell, the more fragile is what it protects, we can’t take out the lump in our throats.

No, I won’t move the chairs in my heart. His will stay there… waiting and going with me every day so I could never forget him.

Como algunos de ustedes saben, Perttu no tocó en los tres primeros conciertos de esta gira de Apocalyptica, porque estaba enfermo. Afortunadamente, Antero Manninen estuvo ahí para apoyar a la banda, aún cuando se despidió de ella en Diciembre pasado. ¡Gracias, Antero!.

Las buenas noticias son, que Perttu apareció en el concierto que dieron ayer en Moscú, así es que nos hace muy felices que ya se sienta mejor y esperamos que continúe igual el resto de la gira.

Muchísimas gracias a H-Crusher por dejarme publicar esta fotografía y no duden en visitar increíble la galería del concierto de ayer, a través del enlace.

- As some of you know, Perttu didn't play with Apocalyptica the first three concerts of this new tour, because he was ill. Fortunately, Antero Manninen was there supporting the band, even when he said 'good bye' last December. Thanks, Antero!.

The good news are that Perttu appeard on yesterday's show in Moscow, so we're so glad that he feels better, and we hope he continues the same way the rest of the tour.
